One of the original creative studios of the new virtual reality movement, Kite & Lightning has quickly established itself as a leader known for immersive computer-generated (CG) worlds that meld cinematic storytelling with interactive gaming.
Recent projects include Lionsgate’s first VR narrative starring Kate Winslet and Mekhi Phifer for the film "Insurgent", GE's "Neuro" VR experience where you travel in VR into the mind of a musician captured by GE MRI scans, and a VR experience for NBC’s “The Voice” featuring Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, & Gwen Stefani.
In August of 2016 K&L closed financing from leading Venture Capital investors in the VR space (led by Raine Ventures, and including Courtside Ventures, Comcast Ventures Catalyst Fund, Social Capital, Outpost Capital, Boost VC, & Jason Rosenthal, CEO of Lytro).
